Ever wondered what an Influencer makes on a particular social media channel?

I ran across an interesting chart from Capitv8 Data and wanted to share. It’s amazing how much money can be made being a goof ball! Many of these social super stars fell into the opportunity – they had the guts and the talent to be an early adopter. What a great way to make a living.

Obviously, the risks are platforms may become obsolete. For instance, Twitter just shut down Vine. But if you hit the right one and become popular, you can generate some real income through ads, sponsorships, posts, etc…

Is it worth spending marketing dollars with an Influencer?

In an article posted by INC regarding whether Influencer marketing is worth the money – The early signs point to “yes” — working with influencers can definitely pay off. For every dollar marketers spend on influencer programs, they receive an average of $9.60 in earned media value (EMV) according to RhythmOne’s Influencer Marketing Benchmarks Report and Guide. That’s a pretty impressive ROI, and often worth extra time spent researching, negotiating, and working with influencers.

You can also watch an interesting segment from 60 minutes – although you have to be a subscriber to get the whole enchilada. But it is interesting how the community of Influencers tend to work together – as opposed to against each other – at least according to this segment in 60 minutes.
